RavenBot Workshop : Carvings from Q1, 2026

Presented in reverse chronological order. Some may be available on my Etsy Shop.

2603, AI-Enhanced Storytelling

26.03 I had a quiet morning a couple weekends ago and spent some time uploading my carving photos to ChatGPT and generating fun and relevant backgrounds for them. It was really a hoot and I expect to continue to do these in the future, enjoy!

2603, Noggins by the Dozen

26.03 1-1/2” stock, assorted heights. Good practice here and good exercise in-between larger carves while I think and sketch… Working on happy eyebrows (mostly) with these. I keep the finished ones in a jar in the fridge, lol. Ok, not in the fridge but yes in a gallon jar. I’ll give them away at whatever craft show I attend next. :)

#274, Custom commission - under wraps for now…

26.02 more to come later…

#273, Gerald Strollpath and Titus Coppershell

26.02 Mixed sizes, base measures approx 12” at its longest. This is my first complete scene and a test piece for what I’ll be taking to the Rocky Mountain Woodcarvers Roundup this May. Stay tuned…

#272, Ernesto “RPG” LaJette - Rocket Propelled Gnome

26.02 Mixed sizes, 2 pieces. Taking the Big Backpack Gnomes to new levels…

#271, Arthur Strongbrow

26.01 2” stock, 5-1/2” tall.

More Noggins…

26.01 Nice practice work in-between other carves. 1-1/2” stock.

1” whittles

26.01 One of the woodcarving Facebook groups has a monthly challenge. This was my first participation. Carvings needed to be from 1” stock, and 2” tall. They’re relatively quick to carve, but holding detail at that size is a challenge.

#270, Evan "Twigs" Fadaioch

26.01 2” stock, 12” tall. What’s funnier than a little gnome with a big backpack? Put that fellow on stilts…
