25.12 Fun evolution of my Big Backpack Gnome idea, really glad with how his face turned out.
2512 Noggins
25.12 Some practice noggins in-between other carvings. Carved from 1-1/2” stock.
#268, Relaxed Santa
25.11 Carved for my parent’s for Christmas from a Bruce Ankeny roughout.

25.11 My take at a flat plane santa, danish oil finish.
Sharpening TLC
25.11 It was time to put new edges on several knives and gouges. Stropping will keep a sharp edge sharp, but with enough carving time, edges need maintenance.
#266, Everitt Trailstead, big backpack gnome
25.11 Biggest Big Backpack Gnome yet! Carved from 4” stock, 12” tall.
#265, Sebastian Gwizdek, the whistling wanderer
25.10 Working towards a bit more dynamic poses and expressions. Carved white camping at Oceano Dunes SRVA in Pismo Beach. Stock and about 7” tall.
